Year 6 have continued their art journey inspired by the work of James Lawrence Isherwood. 🎨✨

This week, the children explored and practised a range of techniques that will help them create their own artwork in Isherwood’s distinctive style. They developed their understanding of perspective drawing and experimented with blending oil pastels to create different effects and atmospheres within their work.

As part of their learning, they investigated how colour can influence mood. Warm colours such as red, orange and purple were used to create energy and excitement, while cooler colours like blue, green and yellow helped to convey a more subdued or gloomy feeling.
